33rd World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), 2016

World Experts in Technology Business to Discuss Global Mind at IASP 2016.

33rd World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation, IASP, will see over 1,500 participants from 70 countries around the world come together in Moscow. The event will take place at three different venues in the Russian capital on September 19-22, 2016.

The Conference organizers are the Moscow Government, Skolkovo Innovation Center, RVC JSC, Innovation Assistance Foundation, Moscow State University Science Park, and Strogino Technopark.

IASP 2016 Moscow business program is unique: the Conference with bring together leading players of the global innovation ecosystem, with over 40 international experts to speak and share their experience of creating efficient technoparks, reviving the urban environment, and international technology transfers.

All the Conference events are linked together by a single Global Mind concept. During the plenary and discussion sessions the experts will discuss the issue of globalization and its uppermost importance for innovation communities in the context of growth and sustainable development.  The topics covered by the Conference speakers include the following:

IASP 2016 Moscow will also feature an international startups competition, Open Innovation Market Place (OIMP), organized jointly with the Spanish Technopark La Salle Technova, Barcelona, and the Department for Science, Industrial Policy, and Entrepreneurship of Moscow. 50 startups specially selected by and international panel will present to the Moscow Government and state corporations their solutions to be further implemented and localized at the Russian market. The finalists - top 10 startups - will receive a unique opportunity to realize their projects in Moscow. The Conference will also host an exhibition for partners and organizers featuring the following participants: Skolkovo Innovation Center, Moscow Government, IASP, TusPark - the largest Science Park in China, Qatar Science & Technology Park, as well as Teknopark Istanbul.

As a special event for the guests of the Conference, Robotics & VR exhibition will be held at the International Trade Center on September 20. The exhibition venue will display the solutions of such companies as Aerob, ExoAtlet, Wicron, Syemka S Vozdukha, Avrora Robotics Lab, INDEL-Partner Ltd., Tsuru Robotics, Kleiber Bionics, and others.

Business visits to Moscow’s technoparks - Moscow Technopolis, Otradnoye and Strogino Technoparks - will be an important part of the program.
